My brother’s niece, Lillian, celebrated her 5th Birthday this weekend.  I was fully expecting another Frozen themed cake since her cousin, Leah (my niece), share the same interests.  I was pleasantly surprised when a Hello Kitty themed was requested because #1 I have not done a Hello Kitty themed cake before and #2 Who doesn’t like Hello Kitty?!  Hello Kitty is sculpted out of fondant.  The two tiered cake consisted of two cake flavours.  The top tier is a vanilla custard cake with raspberry buttercream and the bottom tier is a chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream.
