One of my favourite books as a child was The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter.  I think what I loved most was the beautiful water colour illustrations.  So when I was asked to make a Peter Rabbit themed birthday cake for a little girl’s birthday, I was delighted to say the least!  The Peter Rabbit figurine topper was sculpted from modelling chocolate while all other decorations were made from fondant.  The top tier of the cake was a Chocolate Cake and the bottom tier was a Vanilla Bean Cake.  Both tiers were iced with a Classic Vanilla Buttercream.
