I was asked to make a cake for a 50th surprise birthday party.  The guest of honour and her husband have the cutest little Boston Terrier named Daisy.  I thought something fun and colourful would go well with the surprise party and so, suggested a whimsical cake design.  To personalize the design, I sculpted a Daisy figurine complete with party hat and party blower.  The top tier is a Classic Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream.  The bottom tier is a Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Buttercream.  Daisy is sculpted out of modeling chocolate.
