Elliott’s daycare has two wonderful ladies who look after the children.  Today is one of their birthdays and so I decided to make a cake for her.  It’s the least I can do as a Thank You for looking after Elliott 5 days a week!  The fantasy flower on the cake was originally supposed to be a Magnolia, but I ended up adding more petals because I thought it looked a little sparse.  The cake is a Classic Chocolate Cake with Blackberry buttercream.
