PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol Whenever you're in trouble PAW Patrol, PAW Patrol We'll be there on the double If you are a parent, you know what Paw Patrol is.  This cartoon series features cute rescue pups who work together to protect the community that they live in.  This Vanilla Bean Cake with Classic Vanilla Buttercream features the two female pups, Skye and Everest.  Both Skye and Everest were sculpted out of modelling chocolate. This cake was made for one of Elliott's daycare teacher's father's 70th Birthday.  One of his favourite things to do is canoeing on a canoe that he built himself.  Both the canoe and person was made from modelling chocolate.  The cake was half Chocolate Cake and half Vanilla Bean Cake and iced with a Classic Vanilla Buttercream. This painted roses cake was made to celebrate a 65th Birthday.  The cake was a Vanilla Bean Cake with White Chocolate Buttercream and Raspberry Buttercream.

This weekend, my nieces celebrated their 7th and 5th birthdays with a joint pool party.  They both love Shopkins so naturally, the cake had to be Shopkins themed.  They requested a Cupcake Queen Shopkins cake.  This cake was a Vanilla Bean Cake with Raspberry Reduction and Passion Fruit Buttercream. This wedding cake was made for a family member tying the knot.  The cake was a Classic Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Buttercream.  The white roses were made of gumpaste. The topper was provided by the lovely couple. Congratulations Kearan and Naseeba!

This wedding cake is a design that I've done before.  Only this time, the magnolia flowers were done in coral to match the wedding theme.  I love how it turned out.  The pop of colour from the coral magnolias worked out beautifully.

I love buttercream cakes.  They have this beautiful rustic look to them.  I was so thrilled when I was asked to make this textured buttercream wedding cake.  This 4-tiered cake had two different flavours.  Red Velvet with Vanilla buttercream and Vanilla with Strawberry, Blueberry, and Raspberry buttercream.  

Elliott's favourite movie right now is Zootopia.  We actually went to see it twice in the theatres.  After watching the movie and reading numerous Zootopia books to him, I knew that it would make the perfect theme for his birthday party.  Zootopia is actually the name of the city in which the majority of the movie takes place.  I decided to decorate the sides of the cake to look like the city with modelling chocolate cut outs.  I also made modelling chocolate toppers of the two main characters, Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde.  The top tier was a Vegetarian Chocolate Cake with

A friend of ours was turning the big 4-0.  His parents had asked us to help arrange a surprise party for him.  Everyone knows a birthday party is not complete without a cake! Since he is a big bird enthusiast, I thought a cake in the shape of an owl would be the perfect design.  I sculpted a 5" round cake in the shape of an owl, while the tree stump was a 6" round cake.  Both cakes were Classic Chocolate Cake with Strawberry Buttercream.  All decorations are made of fondant. A coworker had asked me to make a birthday cake for her niece, Ava.  One of Ava's most favourite activities is rock climbing.  She also loves the pastel colours of Blue, Green, and Purple.  I decided to make the cake to resemble a rock climbing wall with holds in her favourite colours.  I also sculpted a modelling chocolate Ava figurine climbing up the cake to a #10 topper.
